Tallinn is a city with a very high share of people who sit at a laptop all day. The result is predictable: tense shoulders, a heavy lower back, short, shallow breathing. A full yoga class does fix that, of course, but between classes the body needs help too.
A simple set you can do right at your desk, without a mat:
Chest opener. Clasp your hands behind your back, gently draw your shoulders back and down, and hold for a few breaths; it offsets hours of slouching at a screen.
Seated twist. Sitting on a chair, turn your torso to one side holding the backrest, then to the other; it gently restores spinal mobility.
Three deep breaths. It sounds too simple, but this is exactly what people skip most often during the workday. Three slow inhales and exhales already ease some of the tension in the body.
This is not a replacement for practice on the mat, but a way to get through the time between classes; your body will thank you.
